Review

This is the completed [HGUC] Delta Gundam . It is the original form of the Hyaku Shiki, with a transformation mechanism set in “Mobile Suit Gundam UC MSV” and other works, and features shiny gold armor with beam-resistant coating.

The flashy golden armor covering the entire body is reproduced with under-gate style gold-plated parts!

Some of the joints are made from HGUC Delta Plus parts, but about 90% of the overall shape is new. Like other HG Zeta models, you can change the torso part to transform it into Waverider mode.

I was very conscious of it when taking the photo, but please don’t mind if an incredibly handsome guy who looks like Hikawa Kiyoshi appears in it!

Compared to the revived version of Hyaku Shiki ridden by Captain Quattro.

This is the matte-plated Hyaku Shiki that’s exclusive to Gundam Base, but there are also shiny-plated and non-plated versions available!

Compare it to Delta Plus and Gundam Delta Kai. It’s already Delta Airlines.

It can also be compared to the red Delta Gundam Unit 2 Ver. GFT limited color, available exclusively at Gundam Front Tokyo.

This is the Delta Gundam Unit 2, an event-limited edition sold in 2024.

The content is the same as Ver.GFT.

Head. The main camera can be fitted with or without a twin eye sticker.

Torso. The red part around the collarbone is colored with a sticker.

The shoulder joint is the same as the Delta Plus and can swing back and forth slightly.

The backpack binder is movable on a ball axis.

The backpack can be easily removed by simply replacing the parts!

The forearm is exactly like the Hyaku Shiki, with the elbow being a simple one-axis joint.

This area also has a design with many surfaces, so when you take a photo it is reflected in a lot of pictures and the light reflects a lot.

Hand parts include a right gun-holding hand and a right gripping hand, as well as left and right gripping hands for the MP-1E, and left and right flat hands.

It’s great that there is a grip thanks to the transformation, but it’s a shame there is no handle on the left.

The waist area is designed to look like the Hyaku Shiki without the beam sabers.

The hip joints are ball joints and there are also holes for the stand.

The thrusters around the calves of the legs are color-coded with red stickers.

The armor on the back of the calf swings out, and thrusters are molded on the inside.

There is no meat removal on the soles of the feet.

A long type beam rifle. The sensor part can be color coded with a sticker, and there is a pin on the grip so it can be held firmly.

The red part of the shield is color-coded with a sticker, and two beam sabers are stored on the back.

Transforms into Waverider mode. Just like the Delta Plus, the whole body block is replaced to recreate the look.

As always, it has a sleek silhouette and looks like a futuristic fighter jet, which is really cool!

From above and below. The beam rifle is attached to the binder.

Action

Equipped with a beam rifle and shield.

Beam rifle action.

Although the hip joint movement is a little tight, you can still get the figure to pose quite nicely!

The shield is so sharp it looks like it could stab Lord Paptimus!

Two short beam sabers are included.

There are two sabers but the left handle is missing. What kind of wit is that?

Transforms into Waverider form.

It looks like it would be easy to place other MS on top of it, but with something this shiny and gold, it’s bound to be very stressful for anyone riding it.

This concludes the review of the [HGUC] Delta Gundam !
