From “Mobile Suit Gundam”, the MS “Mass-produced Gelgoog” of the Principality of Zeon, which was introduced at the end of the One Year War, has appeared in the Gunpla HGUC with compatible specifications with the “Gelgoog Cannon”, so I would like to review it!

Accessories include beam rifle, shield, beam naginata, Gelgoog cannon replacement parts, right gun handle, left open hand, and commander antenna parts.
This is the finished 【HGUC】GELGOOG.A mass-produced MS of the Principality of Zeon that appeared in the final stages of the first “Mobile Suit Gundam”, it is the first mobile suit in the same army to have beam weapons as standard equipment.
According to one theory, its performance surpasses that of the Earth Federation Forces’ Gundam, and if a proper pilot had piloted it, the outcome of the One Year War would have been different.
The kit uses Char’s Gelgoog, which was made three-dimensional earlier, and this kit is compatible with the Gelgoog Cannon that appears in MSV.
Head details.Gelgoog’s characteristic pig nose-like silhouette head.The mono-eye can be selected from a mono-eye rail integrated seal or a mono-eye light emitting part only seal.
The head can be replaced with one with a commander aircraft antenna.
The monoeye can be moved by removing the parts on the top of the head.
Torso details.Except for the coloring, it has the same shape as Char’s Gelgoog, so almost everything is diverted there. The cockpit hatch has the same coloring as the body, so there was no sticker like Char’s Gelgoog.
Arm details.The elbow joint is an axis type with a range of motion of about 90 degrees. There is a shaft hole on the side of the forearm that can mount shields and the like.
The back is a design that does not have a back pack such as a backpack. Shields and beam naginata can be mounted.
A skirt style that is typical of the Principality of Zeon, similar to Dom. The vernier is molded as a separate part inside the rear skirt. The stand hole is not a 3mm shaft, but a square shape unique to the old kit.
The front side of the skirt is a separate part, and since it is connected to the ball shaft, it will not interfere with the movement of the legs when opened.
The legs have a flared shape that is common in MSs of the Principality of Zeon. A vernier is also sculpted inside the hem.
Beam Naginata can be mounted on the back or behind the shield.
Converted from mass-produced Gelgoog to Gelgoog Cannon. A variation of the Gelgoog that appeared in the first MSV, equipped with a cannon pack instead of a beam rifle. The head, arms, and backpack can be replaced easily even after assembly.
The top of the head is equipped with a sensor that is linked to the Canon pack, and this can reproduce colors with stickers. The head is completely different from the mass-produced Gelgoog, so it is a method of replacing the whole head.
The head of the Gelgoog Cannon can also be replaced with one with an antenna for the commander plane.
Side by side with the head of the mass-produced Gelgoog. I think the Gelgoog Cannon has a slightly angular design with a lot of faces.
Equipped with a buckler shield on the left arm. This is a simple 1-part model that replaces the mass-produced Gelgoog forearm parts.
Equipped with a triple missile launcher on its right arm. This is also designed to be exchanged for mass-produced Gelgoog forearm parts.
A new cannon pack is attached to the back. It was equipped in place of the Beam Rifle, which was delayed in mass production, and the head is also a special one for cannon control. The backpack and the cannon are integrated into one design.
Cannon can be swing movable with axis movable.
The thrusters of the backpack are connected on the left and right so that it can swing.
The power pipe on the surface of the backpack is a separate part.
Beam Naginata is mounted on the rear armor when using the Gelgoog Cannon.
Equipped with a beam rifle and a shield on a mass-produced Gelgoog.
Attack with beam rifle. The Principality of Zeon’s first standard equipment beam weapon. Because Gelgoog’s body is big, the Beam Rifle looks a little small.
Equipped with a large round shield. It can be worn on your back or on your arm. In the example, the back side of the shield is also gray, so we have to recreate a fairly wide area with paint.
Attack with Beam Naginata. This is also a characteristic weapon of Gelgoog, and was also used by Dijeh in the later world. Since the grip is round, it turns around in the handle and it is difficult to hold it firmly.
Action with triple missile launcher and beam naginata by replacing with gelgoog cannon. It’s a little hard to see in the example, but the surface of the launcher and shield seems to be painted in Gelgoog’s body color.
Attack with a cannon pack. It’s rare in this kind of kit, and it’s good that you can easily replace Gelgoog and Gelgoog Cannon even after assembly.
You can equip a beam rifle even in the Gelgoog Cannon state, or remove the buckler shield and attach a large shield.
