This is the finished [HGWFM] “GUNDAM LFRITH THORN”.”MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM the WITCH from MERCURY” is a Gundam operated by “Dawn of Fold” that appeared at the end of the first season, and the pilot is NOREA DU NOC. It has a characteristic silhouette with long arms and short legs, which is a measure to withstand more advanced combat maneuvers.
Side by side with my partner GUNDAM LFRITH UR. The shield and phased array cannon have the same shape, but the aircraft itself is completely different. There are such bumpy combinations in anime and manga.
【HGWFM】GUNDAM LFRITH UR review
Like the GUNDAM LFRITH UR, the head has twin eyes and forehead sensors that are color-coded with detailed parts, and a metallic green sticker is attached, but it looks great even without it. It’s amazing that the parts between the eyebrows between the twin eyes and the ducts on the side of the head are also color-coded.
The sensor on the back of the head is reproduced with a sticker. You can select the lighting state of the forehead shell unit by attaching a sticker.
The fuselage is designed with a shell unit that spreads horizontally, and is reproduced with clear smoked parts. You can also select the luminous state by sticking a sticker on the inside. The black part of the chest duct is colored with a sticker.
The shoulder armor with a sharp design is reproduced with an internal thruster-like part with a lining and integrated parts.
The side of the arm, which is about two wrists longer than GUNDAM LFRITH UR, has a shaft hole where a shield can be attached, and this needs to be painted gray.Since the elbow joint is a large C-shaped joint, it has a structure that is easy to disassemble even after assembly.
The beam saber unit on the back of the sleeve can be deployed. Attach the included saber effect.
In addition to the handle, the flat hand is also included for the left and right.
There is no backpack in this machine and only one vernier is attached to the main body. There are 3 shaft holes for mounting a phased array cannon, etc., but it was not compatible with the mainstream 2-axis pack pack in HG.
The waist has a unique design, and the rear armor has three verniers. Each ball axis can move independently.
The rear armor itself can also be moved with a C-shaped joint.
Unique legs that are extremely short compared to massive thighs. The part that looked like a thigh was equipped with something equivalent to a knee joint. Since the joint is a C-shaped joint, it seems possible to modify it by attaching 30MM parts etc. to extend the legs.
The ankles are claw-shaped, and the hind legs are designed to move left and right, but in the kit, they were molded as one piece. The hind legs have flesh cuts.
Main armament beam diffuse gun. It has a large capacity battery tank similar to GUNDAM LFRITH UR’s Beam Gatling Gun, but smaller than that one. A movable foregrip is also sculpted, but unlike the GUNDAM LFRITH UR, it can only be attached to the left side of the gun.
The shield has the same shape as the one attached to the GUNDAM LFRITH UR Beam Gatling Gun. LFRITH THORN is designed to be attached to the arm, and two beam sabers are attached to the back side.
The main body of the phased array cannon has the same shape as that of the GUNDAM LFRITH UR, and the light-emitting part and the part that looks like the launch port at the tip are colored with stickers. The gimmick that deploys the unit is also reproduced.
The design of the connection arm with the Canon fuselage is slightly different from the GUNDAM LFRITH UR. It is designed to move on two axes, and the manual says to connect it to the left back of LFRITH THORN.

A beam diffuse gun that fires a beam with high diffusion power like a shotgun. It can be held with both hands by having a foregrip, and the upper sensor part is colored with a sticker.
Deploy the beam saber unit. In addition to the saber on the wrist, there are two sabers behind the shield, so a total of four beam sabers are equipped! !
Two beam sabers are also included separately from the arm unit. I don’t think it’s necessary if you have an arm unit, but I wonder if it’s equipped because the shield is the same as LFRITH UR?
Deploy Phased Array Cannon. Like LFRITH UR’s, it seems to have the ability to fire high power beams and unlock with high parmet scores. I look forward to seeing him in action in the second season of the anime.
