Review

This is the completed [HGOO] Gundam Throne Ein . Appearing in the second half of the first season of “Mobile Suit Gundam OO”, the Gundam Throne 1st Unit equipped with a pseudo-sun reactor is piloted by Johann Trinity, the eldest son of Team Trinity.

While most of it is the same as Zwei and Drei, some features are unique to Ein, such as the GN launchers mounted on the head and back unit.

The kit reproduces the GN launcher barrel deployment and the docking gimmick with other Thrones, but it is unfortunate that there are still many areas lacking color and the beam saber effect is still not included.

Some parts such as the hip joints and knees are made of ABS, and the polycaps are made of PC-123 Plus.

The rear unit has been removed.

The GN launcher and GN shield are one piece and can be removed together.

Compared to Exia. They’re about the same height, but the shoulders and crest make them look a little bigger.

Comparing Ein, Zwei, and Drei including their armaments.

The head is adorned with a crest that looks more murderous than Athrun’s from SEED.

The twin eyes are colored with stickers, but the yellow parts on the cheeks and forehead need to be painted.

I was able to tolerate such a big crest because he was Trinity’s eldest son, but I couldn’t have tolerated it if he had been the second son.

The GN drive on the torso is recreated by applying a purple sticker to the base and then covering it with clear parts.

The shoulder joints do not swing like those on Team Ptolemy’s HG Gundam.

The back without the unit.

The area around the GN drive is sculpted with quite fine detail.

It is equipped with a GN Beam Saber on its shoulder, which is firmly attached so it won’t fall off.

The blade parts on the side are the same dark brown as the main body, so they will need to be painted.

The arms are simple one-axis joints.

Since it is a shared part with other Thrones, the arm is sculpted with a dowel hole for connecting a GN handgun!

The waist also has a simple design, and the pink parts of the front armor are color coded with stickers.

The hip joints are ball-axis type, allowing them to move back and forth, and they also have holes for a stand.

The protrusions of the thighs interfere with your back, but if you can get around them properly, your hips can rotate 360 degrees.

You cannot bend forward or lean backward.

The design makes it difficult to stand on your knees, but the knees move a lot so it seems possible to make the shape.

The grey toes are colour coded with stickers.

There is no hollowing out in the soles of the feet, but since it is divided into left and right parts, there are clear seams.

A special handheld firearm: the GN beam rifle.

The white parts of the sight and lower blade are color-coded with stickers.

The back unit itself. The latch for connecting the Zwei and Dry cables opens and closes.

You can connect the lead wire cables that come with Zwei and Dry!

The GN launcher’s connecting arm is movable with a C-joint.

This may have been the original design, but it looks kind of hollowed out and a bit strange.

The GN Launcher’s normal state with the barrel folded.

The rear unit can also rotate, and a gun muzzle is also sculpted at the tip.

The gimmicks of the gun barrel and the grip of the rear unit are also reproduced.

You can also dock the GN beam rifle.

It is equipped with a GN shield on its left shoulder, and the cable extending from the backpack is reproduced with soft parts.

The white parts on the surface of the shield are color-coded with stickers.

Action

Equipped with a GN beam rifle.

Johann fires his GN beam rifle!

The saber and fins on the right shoulder are likely to interfere with the GN launcher, so it is necessary to make sure they are properly avoided.

Attack with the GN Launcher!

It fires a dark red particle beam!

Deploy the GN Launcher by yourself!

Since the rifle is fixed, it’s a little difficult to adjust the angle of your arm.

The GN Beam Saber can use the flat-shaped effect that comes with the Virtue, but since it’s not a red-and-black particle effect, you’ll need to paint it if you want to recreate it properly!

Particles are supplied from Nena’s Dry to fire the GN Mega Launcher!

I’m going to blow Professor Eifman away with pinpoint accuracy!

Michael’s Zwei also fires the GN Hi Mega Launcher!

If there are two it becomes a Mega Launcher, and if there are three it becomes a High Mega Launcher.

This concludes the review of [HGOO] Gundam Throne Ein !

So stay safe!
